2 months agoAckee and Saltfish was delicious, with sides of yams/plantains/mac&cheese. Portions were huge. Only gripe was too oily for me. Needs to advertise that Ackee and Saltfish is the National Dish of Jamaica.

3 months agoWhen the Lord tells you to treat yourself on a Friday to some Jamaican food this is what he means! I didnt even take one breathe before I had eaten half that fish! Omg but those plantains were sooooooooo good! And the cabbage, I love cabbage! They didnt have cream soda but I think I might have converted to Sparkling grapefruit!

8 months agoIf you live in the area this is a great place to get some Caribbean/Jamaican food. For me, I really miss Trinidad cuisine - doubles, bake & salt fish, roti and the food at Jamminz can be hit or miss. It all depends on who is cooking. I stick to the stew chicken, peas & rice, yams.. I have tried the jerk chicken and the jerk teriyaki. I prefer the jerk teriyaki as the jerk is too salty for me. Try them out for yourself, though!

a year agoThis place food was horrible. The plate sizes were incredibly too small for $42.00 and the cabbage, Mac and cheese and plantain were tasteless. They gave us some chop up chicken and not a breast and it wasn’t jerk and it had no spice. Last and only time we will ever eat there.

3 years agoHave always had the best experiences here! The food is always fantastic. Just went and picked up some Jerk Chicken and Jerk Shrimp with cabbage, Mac n cheese! So so good! Anytime I’m out that way I always have to make a stop here! A MUST TRY place

4 years agoThe meal was very good, it was hot, seasoned well, but small in size; I could have ate 3 pieces of fish. The peas and rice were good, once you mix the cabbage in to add the spice and flavor it up. The plantains finished the meal off. The prices are fair and the customer service was great. I would definitely return to try some of the other menu items.

4 years agoMy husband and I love this place. We can't say enough about it! I always get the sweet chili pineapple salmon and it's better every single time. They are so sweet and overly concerned if you got enough food or not. It definitely feel like home with good home cooking. I'm glad I live close by but I'd make an hour drive for their food!
